About Lesson

Part 1: The examiner will introduce him or herself and ask you to introduce yourself and confirm your identity.

IELTS speaking test always starts with a quick identity check, please answer with short factual answers. This part is not assessed.

-Could you tell me your full name, please? A: My full name is Minsoo Kim.
-How shall I address you? (What shall I call you?) A: You can call me Minsoo.
-Could you tell me where you are from?
A: I’m from South Korea.
-Can I see your identification? A: Of course.

The examiner will ask you general questions on familiar topics, e.g. home, family, work, studies and interests. This section should help you relax and talk naturally.
