Reading Passage: “Watering the Plants!”

Every morning, I water the plants.
I fill a watering can with clean water.
Then, I go outside to the garden.
I pour water on the flowers and the vegetables.
Some plants are big, and some are small.
I talk to them and say, “Good morning, plants!”
I check the leaves and the soil.
When I finish, the plants look happy and fresh.
I feel happy too!
