Reading Passage: “Tidying the House”
Every Saturday, I tidy the house.
I start by picking up things on the floor.
Then I make the bed and fold the blankets.
I wipe the tables and clean the windows.
I sweep the floor and use a mop.
Sometimes I vacuum the carpet, too.
I take out the trash and wash the trash bin.
After cleaning, I light a candle or spray air freshener.
The house smells nice and looks clean.
