🐸💚 The Green Frog
📜 Script
NARRATOR:
Once, there was a little green frog.
He lived with his mother near a river.
He was a good frog…
but he always did the opposite of what she said!
NARRATOR:
If she said “Go left,” he went right.
If she said “Be quiet,” he sang loudly.
🐸 GREEN FROG (singing):
“La la la! I do what I want!”
NARRATOR:
Mother Frog was sad.
🐸 MOM FROG (sighing):
“My son never listens. What will happen when I’m gone?”
NARRATOR:
One day, she became very sick.
She called her son close.
🐸 MOM FROG:
“When I die… please bury me on the sunny hill.”
NARRATOR:
She really wanted to be buried by the river,
but she knew he’d do the opposite.
Soon, she passed away.
NARRATOR:
For the first time,
the little frog cried.
He felt sorry.
He wanted to listen—just once.
NARRATOR:
So he did as she said.
He buried her on the sunny hill.
NARRATOR:
But then… it rained.
The river rose higher and higher.
The little frog worried the water would never reach her grave.
So he sat beside it—crying in the rain.
NARRATOR (ending):
Even today,
green frogs cry when it rains.
They remember their mothers…
and the lesson of listening with love.
THE END.
