🎶 “David the Brave” 🎶
🎵 Verse 1
Narrator:
Long ago in hills so wide,
Two armies stood on either side.
The Philistines had a giant man—
Goliath roared across the land!
🛡️ Goliath:
“Who will fight me? Who will try?
Send your best—I’ll make him cry!”
🎵 Verse 2
Narrator:
The Israelites shook, afraid to go,
For Goliath’s strength was all they’d know.
Forty days he mocked and jeered,
No one came—just fear appeared.
👑 King Saul:
“Is there no one brave to stand?
To fight this giant in the land?”
🎵 Verse 3
Narrator:
Then came David, brave and small,
A shepherd boy who heard the call.
🧑🌾 David:
“I’ve fought off lions and angry bears—
The Lord was there—He always cares!”
Narrator:
The king said, “Go,” though still unsure,
David’s heart was brave and pure.
🎵 Verse 4
🧑🌾 David:
“I won’t wear armor—I won’t wear steel.
I’ll use my sling and faith that’s real.”
Narrator:
Five smooth stones were all he took,
He walked ahead, while others shook.
🛡️ Goliath:
“You send a child? A stick? A toy?”
🧑🌾 David:
“I come with God—His strength, His joy.”
🎵 Verse 5
Narrator:
David slung a stone through air—
It struck Goliath—right then and there!
🎯 THUD!
The giant dropped without a sound,
His heavy armor hit the ground.
Narrator:
Cheers rose high, the battle won—
Faith had conquered with a stone and sun.
🧑🌾 David:
“I trusted God—He made me strong.
To Him alone I sing this song.”
