🎵 “Sing Your Own Song” 🎵
🎶 Verse 1
🎵 In a forest by a quiet lake,
A crow would watch the swans at day’s break.
He saw them glide and softly sing,
Their music made the forest ring.
🎶 Verse 2
🐦 “Why do they love the swan’s sweet song?
When I sing loud, they say it’s wrong!
If I could sound just like they do…
Maybe they would love me too!”
🎶 Verse 3
🎵 He perched beside the sunset’s glow,
And gave the swan’s sweet voice a go—
🐦 “Caaaw… Aaaa… Oooo… Errk!”
🎵 The notes came out with quite a jerk!
🎶 Verse 4
🦢 Swan: “Dear crow, that’s not your sound.
Why copy me when you’re spellbound?
🎵 The forest needs your voice so true—
Not just a copy to please a few.”
🎶 Verse 5
🎵 The crow flew off with hanging head,
Ashamed of all the things he’d said.
But in the woods, a surprise came near—
His fellow crows began to cheer!
🎶 Final Chorus
🐦 “We heard your song! It made us proud!
A voice like yours stands out so loud!”
🎵 The crow then smiled, his wings spread wide—
And sang his song with crowish pride!
🎵 Not the swan’s… but his own tune,
Echoing proud beneath the moon. 🌙
