🎵 The Fox and the Goat – Song Lyrics 🎵
(Calm, curious, and lightly playful)

Verse 1
One hot day beneath the sun,
A thirsty fox was on the run.
His tongue was dry, he felt so slow—
He needed water down below.

Verse 2
He saw a well with stones so round,
And fresh, cool water shining down.
“Oh! That water looks so sweet,
I must go down and have a treat!”

Verse 3
He jumped right in without a thought,
And drank the water that he sought.
“Ahh… That’s better,” the fox said loud—
But then he slipped and looked around.

Verse 4
The walls were high, the stones were slick,
He couldn’t climb, not one small brick.
“Oh no! I’m stuck!” he cried in fear.
“What can I do while trapped down here?”

Verse 5
A goat came by and heard the sound,
He peeked into the well he found.
“Hello down there! Is it okay?
Is the water good today?”

Verse 6
“The best I’ve ever tasted, yes!
Come down and drink—forget the stress!”
The goat jumped in with joyful cheer,
And drank the water with a cheer.

Verse 7
But then he looked and saw the top,
And all his happy thoughts did stop.
“Wait! How do we climb and leave?”
He looked at fox with puzzled grief.

Verse 8
“Don’t worry,” said the fox so sly,
“I have a plan to help us try.
You stand still and I will climb—
Then I’ll help you out in time.”

Verse 9
The goat stood firm, the fox climbed high,
He reached the edge and waved goodbye.
He didn’t help or pull or wait—
He simply walked beyond the gate.

Verse 10
“Hey! You said you’d help me too!”
The goat called out with angry moo.
“You should have thought before the leap—
Don’t jump too fast into the deep.”

Final Verse (Ending)
So think before you act too fast,
Or troubles deep might surely last.
A clever mind can keep you free—
And save you from a well, you see!
