Was to be married to a foreign prince.
She, her maid, the king, and attendants,
Traveled in a carriage meant for paradise…

But the vain maid seized her chance…

“But you know I must find my own destiny…”
🎵 Verse 3

The princess reluctantly agreed.
The maid took the crown and the dresses indeed.
The real princess—left with rough clothes—
No more tokens, no more gold.
Narrator:
Condemned to serve as a goose girl,
She tended to geese along the road.
Her only friend, the old goose master,
Who saw her sorrow quietly show.
🧓 Goose Master (softly):
“You speak so little…
But I see grace in your heart.”
🎵 Verse 4
Narrator:

But holding hope so faithfully.

The false maid stood with jewels grand.
The king was pleased,
But the prince felt strange…
🤴 Prince (to queen):
“She smiles…
But her eyes do not reflect warmth.”
🎵 Verse 6
Narrator:
Meanwhile, in the palace garden,
The real goose girl drew her geese in.
The royal birds knew who she was—
They followed her with royal love.
The crowd gasped. The king stepped near:
👑 King (sternly):
“Who tends these geese here?”
🧓 Goose Master:
“She does—
It is the princess who fled from the carriage.”
🎵 Verse 7
Narrator:
The golden crown was returned at last.
The false maid’s greed—unmasked so fast.
She confessed and was dismissed.
The prince stepped forward and said this:
🤴 Prince:
“I have found my bride.”
Narrator:
They were married that very day.
Her quiet courage led the way.
The geese flew overhead in cheer,
As love and kindness ruled the year. 🦢❤️
