🎵 “One Little Branch” 🎵
A gentle forest fable song for kids

🎶 Verse 1

🎵 In a peaceful wood where tall trees grow,
Their branches danced with a gentle flow.
They gave out shade and leafy cheer,
Together strong, year after year.

🎶 Verse 2

Then came a man with an axe in hand,
But the handle was gone, not strong or grand.
👨‍🌾 “Dear trees,” he asked, “just one small piece—
To help my work and bring us peace.”

🎶 Verse 3

🌳 “It’s only a branch,” said the mighty oak,
“What harm could come?” he gently spoke.
The trees all nodded, proud and kind—
Not knowing what would come in time.

🎶 Verse 4

He shaped the branch, the axe was whole,
Then chopped with strength, he met his goal.
THWACK! THWACK! went tree and bark,
🌲 Pine cried out, “This isn’t smart!”

🎶 Verse 5

🌿 “We gave him power,” Willow sighed,
“To swing and cut the woods we’ve prized!”
But now it was too late to mend,
The chopping wouldn’t quickly end…

🎶 Outro

🎵 So forests whisper soft and low,
A lesson every tree should know:
Be careful what you give away—
It might return in a hurtful way. 🌳
