The bear and the beehive
📜 Script
NARRATOR:
One sunny morning, a big brown bear was walking through the forest.
He was hungry and looking for something sweet to eat.
Suddenly, he saw a beehive hanging from a tall tree.
🐻 BEAR (licking lips):
“Mmm! Sweet honey! That’s just what I need! I must have some right now!”
NARRATOR:
The bear stood on his hind legs and gave the tree a little shake.
The hive wobbled back and forth.
🐝 BEES (buzzing):
“Stop that! This is our home! Go away!”
NARRATOR:
But the bear didn’t stop.
He wanted honey so much that he hit the tree even harder.
CRACK!
The branch snapped, and the beehive crashed to the ground.
Sticky golden honey oozed out.
The bear reached his paw toward it.
Suddenly—WHIRRR! BUZZ!
Angry bees flew out of the hive in a big cloud.
🐝 BEES (angry):
“You didn’t listen! Now you’ll see what happens!”
NARRATOR:
The bear’s eyes grew wide.
He turned and ran as fast as he could!
🐻 BEAR (yelling):
“Aah! Bees! Too many bees!”
NARRATOR:
He didn’t stop running until he jumped into the cold, deep river.
SPLASH!
The bees stayed at the shore, buzzing loudly.
The bear shivered in the water, covered in goosebumps.
🐻 BEAR (shivering):
“Next time… I’ll ask nicely. Or maybe I won’t ask at all…”
NARRATOR (ending):
Sometimes, being greedy brings more pain than joy.
And in the end… the bear learned his sticky, stingy lesson.
THE END.
