📖 Script
Narrator:
Once upon a time, in a quiet village nestled among tall trees, lived a boy with an adventurous heart. One bright morning, he wandered into the forest and found a hollow tree trunk filled with shiny, colorful nuts.
👦 Boy: “Wow! So many nuts! I’ll take them all!”
Narrator:
Eagerly, he thrust both hands into the hollow and grabbed as many as he could. But when he tried to pull his hands out, they wouldn’t budge.
👦 Boy: “Uh-oh… I’m stuck!”
Narrator:
The more he pulled, the tighter the nuts seemed to hold onto him. Just then, the Old Grandfather Clock, who lived deep in the woods, appeared beside him.
🕰️ Grandfather Clock: “Why do you carry so much, little one?”
👦 Boy: “I want all of them! They’re beautiful!”
🕰️ Grandfather Clock: “Greed traps you. Try taking only what you need.”
Narrator:
The boy frowned but slowly let go of some nuts. As he loosened his grip, his hand slid free. He held just one—a golden nut that sparkled more brightly than the rest.
👦 Boy: “This one is perfect.”
🕰️ Grandfather Clock: “And now you are free.”
Narrator:
The boy learned that too much desire can trap us, while wisdom helps us choose what truly matters. From that day on, he took only what he needed, and he lived more happily than ever.
