🪣🐦 The Crow and the Pitcher
📜 Script
📜 The Clever Crow
Aesop’s Fable – Easy English Version
NARRATOR:
One hot summer day, a thirsty crow was flying high across the bright blue sky.
The sun was strong, and the air was dry.
The poor crow had been searching for water all day.
But no matter where it looked—no river, no pond, not even a puddle.
NARRATOR:
Just as the crow was about to give up, it spotted something shiny in a garden.
It flew down quickly and landed beside a tall clay pitcher.
The crow looked inside and saw a small amount of water at the bottom.
His eyes lit up.
NARRATOR:
He stretched his neck and tried to reach it with his beak,
but the pitcher was too tall, and the water was too low.
No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t reach it.
NARRATOR:
The crow paced around the pitcher, thinking hard.
Then, he saw small pebbles and stones scattered nearby.
A clever idea popped into his mind.
🪨 NARRATOR:
He picked up a stone with his beak and dropped it into the pitcher.
Then he picked up another… and another.
Each stone made the water rise—just a little.
He kept working, dropping stones one by one.
Slowly but surely, the water came closer to the top.
NARRATOR:
At last, the water was high enough.
The crow bent his beak and drank deeply.
The cool water filled him with joy.
Now refreshed, the clever crow flew away happily into the sky.
NARRATOR (ending):
When you stay calm and use your brain,
you can solve even the biggest problems.
THE END.
