🐴🫏 The Horse and the Donkey

📜 Script

NARRATOR:
A donkey and a horse were walking side by side along a long, dusty road.
The donkey was carrying many heavy bags.
There were sacks of grain, tools, clothes, and even pots and pans.
The weight made the donkey tired and slow.
He was sweating, breathing hard, and shaking with every step.

🫏 DONKEY:
“Please, dear friend, could you help me carry just one or two bags?
I am so tired. My back is sore, and I don’t think I can go much further.”

NARRATOR:
The horse looked proud and clean.
He had no bags, and he walked lightly.

🐴 HORSE:
“No. That is not my job. I don’t carry loads.
That is your work, not mine.”

NARRATOR:
The donkey sighed and kept moving.
He tried his best, but after a few more steps,
his legs gave out, and he fell to the ground with a loud thump.

The farmer, who was walking behind them, rushed over.
He saw that the donkey could not move.
So, he took all the heavy bags off the donkey
and placed them onto the horse.

Now the horse had to carry everything—every single bag, pot, and sack.

NARRATOR (ending):
If the horse had helped a little at the beginning,
he would have saved himself from carrying it all later.
A small kindness early on
can make the road easier for everyone.

THE END.
