동화 초급 Fairy tale

📖 Script

Narrator: Long ago in a quiet kingdom, there ruled a king 👑 who had a strange secret: he had donkey ears 🐴! Every morning, he hid them under a large hat.

Narrator: No one in the kingdom knew. Every barber was dismissed after one haircut—except one.

Narrator: One day, a new barber 💇 was summoned.

💇 Barber: “Y-Your Majesty, I shall do my best…”

Narrator: As he lifted the crown, his eyes widened.

💇 Barber: (Gasp) “Donkey ears?!”

👑 King: “Shh! If you tell anyone… you’ll be punished!”

Narrator: The poor barber was terrified but promised to stay silent.

Narrator: Days passed, but the secret burned in his chest. He couldn’t sleep or eat. He had to tell someone—or something!

Narrator: So he dug a small hole near the river and whispered into it.

💇 Barber: “The king has donkey ears…”

Narrator: Then he covered the hole and walked away, feeling better.

Narrator: But soon, reeds grew from that spot. And when the wind blew through them, they whispered the secret to the world:

🌿 Reeds: “The king has donkey ears… the king has donkey ears…”

Narrator: The whispers reached the villagers, the castle, and finally, the king.

👑 King: “What is this nonsense?!”

Narrator: He rushed to the river and heard the truth in the wind.

👑 King: (Sighs) “Maybe… it’s time to stop hiding.”

Narrator: So the king removed his hat and showed his ears proudly.

Narrator: The people were shocked—but they didn’t laugh. Instead, they bowed with respect.

Narrator: From then on, the king ruled more kindly, and the barber never had to whisper again.
