Narrator: Long ago in a small village, Min 👦 lived with his poor mother. They had little food but shared everything.
Narrator: One day, Min went to his rich brother’s house to ask for help.
👨🦱 Greedy Brother: “I won’t give you food. Go earn it!”
Narrator: Feeling sad, Min helped an old man carry firewood. In return, the man gave him a magic millstone 🌀.
🧓 Old Man: “It can grind anything you want. Just say the words. But only I know how to stop it.”
Narrator: Min thanked him and went home.
👦 Min: “Grind rice!”
Narrator: Out came bowls and bowls of rice! He and his mother ate well and shared with the neighbors.
Narrator: The greedy brother found out.
👨🦱 Greedy Brother: “Give it to me! I need it!”
Narrator: He stole the millstone and rushed to his boat.
👨🦱 Greedy Brother: “Grind salt!”
Narrator: The stone obeyed, pouring out endless salt.
👨🦱 Greedy Brother: “Stop! Stop!”
Narrator: But he didn’t know the magic words. The salt kept coming, piling up in the boat!
Narrator: The boat sank into the sea… and the millstone kept grinding.
Narrator: To this day, it lies deep in the ocean, still making salt 🌊🧂
Narrator: And that’s why the sea is salty!
