🍇🦊 The Fox and the Sour Grapes
📜 Script
NARRATOR:
One sunny day, a hungry fox was walking through the forest.
His tummy growled—grr grr—he hadn’t eaten all day.
NARRATOR:
Then, he saw something wonderful!
A bunch of purple grapes was hanging from a tall vine.
NARRATOR:
The grapes looked juicy and sweet.
They were high up on a branch, just out of reach.
NARRATOR:
The fox licked his lips.
🦊 FOX (thinking):
“Yum! Those grapes look perfect!”
NARRATOR:
He jumped—Boing!
But he missed.
NARRATOR:
He jumped again—Boing!
Still too high.
NARRATOR:
The fox tried and tried.
He ran and leapt, stretched and climbed…
But no matter what he did,
he could not reach the grapes.
NARRATOR:
Finally, the fox sat down, tired and hot.
He looked up at the grapes one more time.
🦊 FOX (grumbling):
“Hmmph! I didn’t want those grapes anyway.
They’re probably sour!”
NARRATOR:
The fox turned around and walked away with his nose in the air.
But inside, he still felt a little sad.
NARRATOR (ending):
Sometimes, when we can’t have something,
we say it wasn’t good anyway.
But that doesn’t mean it’s true.
THE END.
