🪿 The Fox and the Stork
📜 Script
NARRATOR:
One day, the fox invited his friend, the stork, to dinner.
He wanted to play a trick.
NARRATOR:
He made soup and served it in a very shallow bowl—flat and wide.
🦊 FOX (smiling):
“Please eat, my friend! Enjoy the soup!”
NARRATOR:
The fox licked the soup easily with his tongue.
But the poor stork could not eat at all.
Her long beak could not reach the soup.
She just sat and watched.
NARRATOR:
The fox giggled to himself.
The stork was hungry… and sad.
NARRATOR:
A few days later, the stork invited the fox to dinner.
She wanted to teach him a lesson—nicely.
NARRATOR:
She made delicious soup and served it in a tall, narrow jar.
Her long beak could reach inside easily.
She ate happily.
NARRATOR:
But the fox could not reach inside with his short snout.
He licked the outside.
He sniffed the top.
But he couldn’t eat.
🦊 FOX (quietly):
“Oh… now I understand.”
NARRATOR (ending):
The stork smiled kindly.
She didn’t yell.
She didn’t trick him again.
She just showed how it felt.
NARRATOR:
And the fox learned something that day:
“Don’t play tricks on others if you don’t want the same in return.”
