Lesson 1: Hello! 👋

 Teacher script: Hello, hello! Hello, my friend! Are you ready to have fun?

 

Teacher script: Let’s wave hello! Say it with me — Hello!
Sing a short hello song (Lesson 1), repetition or waving game.

 

Teacher Script: What’s your name? Hmmm… I’m Teacher [Your Name]!
Pause and gesture to the student, “What’s your name?”
If needed, parent can assist the child in saying or repeating their name.

 

Teacher Prompt: Look! It’s Bunny. He says: I’m Bunny!
Repeat with all characters.
Let student try: “I’m [Name]!”

 

Teacher Prompt: Can you say ‘I’m [Name]’ like me?
👩 “I’m Teacher!” → Point to self
👦 “I’m [Student’s Name]” → Encourage student to say or repeat name
Bonus: Hold up mirror or video filter and say “Hello, [Name]!”

 

Teacher action: Sing and do gestures with it! Wave, clap, spin 
Let the child copy you. Repeat if engaged.

You can swap “Teddy” with the student’s name and other characters you want to use.

 

Teacher Prompt: What’s your name?
Encourage child to say “I’m [Name]” again. Give lots of praise, even if they whisper or point.

 

Teacher Prompt: Oh! Who’s behind the curtain?
Pull away and say: “It’s Bunny! I’m Bunny!”
Repeat once with your own puppet or character. Let the child guess or repeat.

 

Teacher Script: It’s time to say bye! Let’s say goodbye to our friends!
Wave: “Bye, Teddy! Bye, Bunny!”
Wave to student: “Bye, [Name]!”

 

Review:

 

Closing: Thank the students and sing the optional goodbye song.
