Warm-Up Activity: Memory Travel Box

Instruction: The teacher describes a simple cultural tradition or festival (real or imagined), and the student guesses what it might be.

  • People wear colorful clothes and dance in the streets (Carnival).
  • Families gather to eat turkey and pumpkin pie (Thanksgiving).

After each guess, describe similar festivals in your own country.
