📖 Script
Narrator:
In a forest near a tranquil lake, lived a crow who admired the swans deeply. Every evening, he would watch them glide across the water and sing their gentle songs.
🐦 Crow: “Why do others adore the swan’s song but mock mine? If I just sing like them, I’ll be loved too!”
Narrator:
One evening, he flew to the lake and perched on a smooth rock. As the sun set, he opened his beak and tried to mimic the swan’s tune.
🐦 Crow: “Caaaw—umm… Aaaa—ooh… Urrk!”
Narrator:
But the sounds were neither graceful nor gentle. The peaceful lake echoed with awkward croaks and crackles.
🦢 Swan: “Dear crow, this is not your song. Why pretend to be what you’re not?”
🐦 Crow: “But I want to be admired like you!”
🦢 Swan: “True beauty is being yourself. The forest needs your voice, not a copy of mine.”
Narrator:
Embarrassed and defeated, the crow flew away. But on his way back to the forest, something unexpected happened. Other crows gathered around him.
🐦 Crow 2: “We heard your voice from afar. It reminded us of who we are. Loud, proud, and unique.”
Narrator:
The crow blinked in surprise. He finally smiled—not for singing like a swan, but for being proud of his own voice.
Narrator:
And from then on, he sang his own songs with pride, echoing through the trees—not the lake.
