📖 Script
Narrator:
One cold evening, deep in the forest, a hungry wolf devoured his dinner too quickly. A sharp bone got stuck in his throat, and he began to choke.
🐺 Wolf: “Grrrrk! I-I can’t breathe!”
Narrator:
He ran through the woods, coughing and gasping, until he spotted a tall crane near a pond.
🐺 Wolf: “Please… help me… there’s a bone stuck in my throat!”
🦢 Crane: “Hmm… I suppose I could try. But you must promise not to harm me.”
🐺 Wolf: “Of course! I give you my word. Just help me now!”
Narrator:
The crane gently slid her long beak down the wolf’s throat and carefully pulled the bone out.
🐺 Wolf: Gulp! “Ah… finally I can breathe again.”
🦢 Crane: “Now, about my reward?”
🐺 Wolf: “Reward? Ha! You stuck your head in a wolf’s mouth and came out alive. That is reward enough!”
Narrator:
The crane stepped back in shock, her feathers ruffled.
🦢 Crane: “That was not the deal!”
🐺 Wolf: “Never trust the promise of the wicked.”
Narrator:
And with that, the wolf trotted off into the trees, leaving the crane stunned and wiser than before.
Narrator:
The crane learned that helping the wicked may lead to regret, and that not all promises are made with honesty.
