Narrator:
One frosty morning, a farmer walked along the edge of his field and noticed a snake lying still in the snow.
👨🌾 Farmer: “Oh no, poor creature. You’ll freeze out here!”
Narrator:
Moved by pity, he picked up the snake and tucked it inside his coat to warm it.
🐍 Snake: hissss…
Narrator:
As the snake thawed, it slowly moved, regaining its strength. Then, without warning…
🐍 Snake: HISSS! CHOMP!
👨🌾 Farmer: “Agh! You bit me!”
Narrator:
The farmer stumbled back, clutching his arm as poison spread.
👨🌾 Farmer: “Why would you do this? I saved your life!”
🐍 Snake: “You knew what I was when you picked me up.”
Narrator:
The farmer fell to his knees, regretting his blind kindness.
Narrator:
And so, the tale spread: kindness is noble, but beware of those whose nature is to harm—some will always strike, no matter how well you treat them.
