📜 Script

Narrator:
Once upon a time, a beautiful princess was to be married to a foreign prince. She, her maid, the king, and attendants traveled in a carriage meant for paradise, toward the neighbouring kingdom. But the vain maid seized a golden opportunity—she spoke to the princess in secret.

Maid: “Let me take your place—no one will know.”
Princess (quietly): “But you know I must find my own destiny…”

Narrator:
The princess reluctantly agreed. The maid took the carriage, crown, and dresses. The real princess was stripped of all tokens and left with rough clothes. Condemned to serve as a goose girl, she tended to the royal geese on the road. Her only friend was the old goose master, who recognized her hidden sorrow.

Goose Master (softly): “You speak so little… but I see grace in your heart.”
Narrator:
As the geese waddled and grazed, the princess tended them faithfully. Every morning she combed her hair by the stream, mourning her lost identity but holding hope.

Days passed. They reached the prince’s kingdom. The false princess was presented at court, draped in rich silks and jewels. The king was pleased. Yet the prince felt uneasy—something about her didn’t feel right.

Prince (to queen): “She smiles but her eyes do not reflect warmth.”
Narrator:
Meanwhile, the real goose girl drew her geese toward the palace gardens. The royal birds recognized their princess—they followed her gracefully into the courtyard. The crowd gasped. The king stepped forward.

King (sternly): “Who tends these geese?”
Goose Master: “She does—it is the princess who fled from the carriage.”
Narrator:
The golden crown was placed back on the true princess’s head. The false maid, caught by her own greed, confessed and was dismissed. The prince knelt before the real princess.

Prince: “I have found my bride.”
Narrator:
They were married that very day. The princess’s quiet courage and gentle caring won the hearts of all. The geese flew overhead in celebration as she and the prince ruled with kindness ever after 🦢❤️.
